Louis Gentili, 86, of Hopkinton passed away June 22nd at home. He was the son of the late Italiano and Esterina (Omiccioli) Gentili. He is predeceased by two brothers: Bruno and Raymond Gentili . Louis leaves behind four nephews: Edward Gentili of Ashland, Richard Gentili of Upton, James and David Gentili both of Ashburnham, as well as two nieces: Barbara Gentili of Mason, New Hampshire and Deborah Dando of Payson, Arizona. He also leaves behind many cousins and great-nieces and great- nephews. Louis served in the Unites States Army during WWII. He had worked with the Nursewear Inc. Co. in Boston for many years and most recently was employed with the Laborers' Training Center in Hopkinton. He enjoyed hunting and other outdoor recreation. Calling hours will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main St. Ashland on Monday evening July 1st followed by a memorial service in the Chapel of the funeral home at 7:00pm.
