Louis B. Bonavire, 88, of Framingham, passed away Nov.19th at his home in Framingham. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Bartolo and Jennie (Ciarco) Bonavire and husband to the late Muriel (Goode) Bonavire. Louis was a well renowned furniture refinisher, a master of his trade. Worked at Decor Co. for over 50 years and Sacks & Sons of Marblehead 70 years. Mr. Bonavire served his country honorably in the Army during WWII in Europe (Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland & Central Europe. He is survived by seven children: Linda Steinwachs and her husband James of Bellingham, Brenda Grabau of Ashland, Gail Paglia & her husband Rick of Newton, Elaine Bonavire & her husband Philip of Framingham, Richard Bonavire & his wife Johnna of Holliston, Robert Bonavire & his wife Stephanie of Ashland, David Bonavire & his wife Adelle of Natick; fourteen grandchildren: Paul Natale, Julie-Anna Ostroff and her husband Scott, Kim Grabau, Todd Grabau and his wife Jenine, Ricky Paglia, Nicole Paglia, Paige Bonavire, Toni Bonavire, Tanya Sandler Bonavire, Gabrielle Bonavire, Benjamin Bonavire, Kaila Bonavire, Nicholas Bonavire, and Max Bonavire; nine great grandchildren; Samantha, Michael, Alley, Raven, Jake, Anthony, Georgie, Isabella, Brooke and a baby boy due in December. Two brothers; Joseph Bonavire of Natick , Anthony Bonavire& his wife Charlene of Lunenburg, MA. He was the brother of the late Madeline (Tootsey) Bonavire & Josephine Decot. And a dear friend Jeannie of Taunton. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22nd at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA 01721.
