Our beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother succumbed to cancer on June 27, 2009 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. She was the wife of Walter Noyes of Holbrook, MA, the mother of Diane Wilhoite of Rio Rancho, NM, Cheyrl Swanson (recently passed) of Pensacola, FL, Donald Gillespie of Ashland, MA, Mark Gillespie of South Grafton, MA, and two stepchildren, Andy Noyes and Cindy Quinn. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren. Lorraine was a successful businesswoman in antiques for many years. In her earlier career, Lorraine was a Nurse and worked at various facilities in the Boston area. Always a helping and caring person, she will be greatly missed by all. Visiting hours at the Matarese Funeral Home on Main Street in Ashland, MA on Wednesday, July 1, 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and the Funeral service directly following from 11:00-12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
