Loretta "Claire" (Lessard) Prestianni of Framingham died Sunday October 8th after a long battle with lung disease. Born in Lowell, Mrs. Prestianni resided in Watertown before moving to Framingham more than 32 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Peter J. Lessard and Laura (Lefleur) Lessard. She leaves her husband of 54 years, Michael Prestianni. Mrs. Prestianni is also survived by three daughters; Denise Smith and her husband Joel of Grafton, Donna Tortorici and her husband Larry of Worcester, Deborah Woods and her husband Gerry of Worcester; four grandchildren, Christina and Timothy Woods, Cassandra and Nicole Tortorici, all of Worcester; one brother, Peter Lessard and his wife Janet of NH; and one brother-in-law, Peter DiRocco of Florida. Mrs. Prestianni was predeceased by her sister Bernadette DiRocco of Florida. Mrs. Prestianni was a member of the Ladies Axillary VFW Ashland Post 2331 and member of the Ladies Auxiliary DAV, Chapter10 in Boston. She worked for many years as an administrative clerk for Beckwith Arden of Wakefield and later for Sharon Bolt and Screw in Ashland until her premature retirement due to an automobile accident. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday October 12th at 9:00 AM in St. Bridget's Church on Rt. 9 in Framingham. Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Framingham. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday October 11th from 5-8:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, (www.mataresefuneral.com), 325 Main Street in Ashland, MA 01721.
