Loleta Wright-Cazeau, 84, of Ashland passed away Fri. June 6th at her home with her family by her side.  Born in Barbados, she was the daughter of the late Edith Mullin and the wife of Klaider Cazeau for 38 years.  Loleta left Barbados and travel to England aboard the Queen Mary where she attended nursing school and began her career as a registered nurse.  She would leave England and reside in Toronto, Canada for 10 years before moving to Ashland, MA in 1974.  Loleta served as a nurse's aid and physical therapist during her 37 years at Kathleen Daniel Nursing Home in Framingham.  In addition, she worked for Nurses Unlimited, Inc.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Jennifer Wright and her husband Lawrence Huck Jr of Bradenton, FL, Dr. Sonia Wright and her partner Kimmery Newsom of Minneapolis, MN, and John Wright of Sacramento, CA, six grandchildren, Austin Huck, Dana Huck, Julien Wright Ueda, Laniyah Wright Williams, Jameson Wright Rhodes, and Madeline Wright, six siblings, Wilfred Mullin of Canada, Yvonne Mullin of England, Cecil Mullin, Gloria Mullin, and Allison Mullin, all of Barbados, and Margaret Mullin-Howel of Framingham, MA, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was the grandmother of the late Paige Huck and sister to the late Tyrone Mullin.

A funeral service will be held Sat. June 21st at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.  Visiting hours will be held Saturday from 9:00-10:30am prior to the service.
