Obituary

Lois Jean (Deming) Faucon, 86, of Ashland, MA, formerly of Sherborn, passed away on September 30th after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Victor Albert Faucon who died in 2011.

Lois Faucon was born the eldest child of Eunice Katherine (McDonald) and Deyo Sidney Deming in Oklahoma City, OK on August 10, 1937. The family moved to Weatherford, OK where she graduated from Weatherford High School.

She became an international first-class flight attendant and traveled extensively for nearly a decade - with favorite trips to Cairo, Saigon, Madrid, Rome and Paris. Lois was trained in Kansas City, and then based in New York City, San Francisco, and, ultimately, Boston, where she met and married her husband Victor.

Lois and her husband raised their children in Framingham, and then Sherborn. In Sherborn, Lois was active in Pilgrim Church and the Camp Fire Girls. Lois and Victor retired in Ashland, MA. During her retirement, Lois worked for Holliston Public Schools -- and enjoyed annual summer trips to Maine, researching family genealogy, and watching historic documentaries.

Lois Faucon is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Faucon of Ashland, MA, and Amy Faucon of Portland, OR; one brother, Marion Deming of Ft. Wayne, IN, one sister, Carolyn Deming of Globe, AZ, and an extensive network of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
