Linda A. (Zaniboni) Preston, 77, of Ashland, passed away on December 26, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late David Preston, with whom she shared nearly 50 years of marriage.

Born in Wayland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Argiro) Zaniboni of Wayland. Linda attended Aquinas College in Newton and went on to work as a leasing agent at Redwood Hills Apartments in Worcester, where she was known for her warmth and kindness. She retired in 2015.

Linda was a deeply caring and generous person, always willing to help others and quick to offer support, encouragement, or a listening ear. She had a fun-loving spirit, a great sense of humor, and an infectious laugh that could light up a room. Being with Linda meant feeling welcomed and at ease.

She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life—cooking for loved ones, tending to her garden, decorating her home, and spending time on the water. The Cape held a very special place in her heart, especially Buzzards Bay.

Linda was predeceased by her husband, David. She is survived by her sister, Karen (Zaniboni) Hall; her brother, David Zaniboni; her sisters-in-law, Jeanne Preston and Judy (Preston) Laurence; and her nieces and nephews: Jill Hall, her daughter Jesse Fair, and Jesse's son Max; Vicki (Hall) Rutkowski, her husband Wayne, and their son Joey; Carrie Hall Margolis and her husband Jim; Michael Hall; Chelsea Zaniboni and her partner Graham Risch, and their son Leo; and Katie Laurence. Linda is also lovingly remembered by her extended family in West Springfield, who were dear to her and will miss her greatly.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's memory may be made to a local charity of one's choice.
