Linda Marie James, 68 of Ashland passed away Sun. Jan. 8 ^th after a period of declining health.  She was the daughter of the late William and Pauline (Rumse) Zechello. Linda was the beloved wife of Richard L. James for 53 Years.  She worked as an executive assistant at BJ's Wholesale for many years retiring in 2014.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Jeffrey James of Medway, Timothy James and his wife Adrienne of Dudley, and Brian James of Ashland, two grandchildren, Ian and Tyler, one brother, Bill Zechello of North Carolina, and one sister, Joann Kraft of Mendon, and was the sister of the late Patricia Zechello.  She will be remembered as a loving aunt to several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday Jan. 14 ^th from 2:00-5:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.  There is no public funeral service.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Boston Children's Hospital Trust, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215
