Obituary

Lillian G. Cornish, 85, of Framingham passed away Mon. Feb. 19th after a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Ashland, Lillian was the daughter of the late Melborne and Eunice (Barrows) Howland. She worked as an electrical technician for Telechron for many years and later as a school bus driver in the Town of Natick. She was a member of the Fairs & Squares Square Dancing Club and was part of the Mass Diving Club.

Mrs. Cornish is survived by two daughters: Eileen Fialkow and her husband Stuart of Framingham; and Delores Miller and her husband Marc of Texas; four grandchildren; David Fialkow of Southboro; Aaron Fialkow of Worcester; and Michael and Erik Miller, both of Texas; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers; Arthur Howland of Holden; Raymond Howland of Framingham; Roy Howland of Vermont; and Albert Howland of Florida. She was the sister of the late George, Thomas, Curtis, and Robert Howland, and the late Edith Stonehouse, Eva Arkerson, and Ruth Clifford.

A funeral service will be Friday Feb. 23rd at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6:30-8:00 PM in the funeral home.
