Liliane Gonfrade, age 89, passed peacefully with family at her side at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham, MA on August 14, 2018 after a short period of declining health.

Born in Framingham, she grew up in Ashland, graduating from Ashland High School in 1946 and Emerson College in 1950. She then resided in New York City for 40 years, returning to Ashland when she retired.

She was the daughter of the late Peter and Constance Gonfrade, the sister of Yvonne Tuck and brother Robert Gonfrade and his wife Joan, all of Ashland. She also spent many wonderful holidays and events with her dear nieces and nephews, Michael Tuck and his wife Debby of Douglas, Nancy Day of Ashland , the late Jeffrey Tuck, Cynthia Lichwell and her husband Jim of Centerville, Joseph Gonfrade and his wife Kimberly of Bellingham, Sean Hagerty of Falmouth, Kerry Spah and her husband Lance of Oklahoma and Darrin Hagerty and his wife Michele of Wisconsin, as well as several great nieces and nephews: Matthew and Christopher Day, Andrew Joyce and his wife Ashley, Alex Gonfrade, Sean Brown, Jordan Spah, Erica Spah and Austin Hagerty.

Liliane worked at ABC in New York City for over forty years as Music Librarian, choosing music for many TV shows as well as the Olympics, before retiring. She then spent many years in and around Ashland with her lifelong friends and close cousins.
