Lawrence (Bud) H. Hadley, Sr., 72, of Greenacres, FL, formerly of Ashland died Tuesday October 17th. Mr. Hadley was born in Newton and was the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Handy) Hadley. He graduated from Waltham High School in 1951. Mr. Hadley worked for G.T.E. for many years and served as a part time photographer for the Ashland Fire Department. He was married to the late Barbara Capen who died in 2003. Mr. Hadley leaves his children: Lawrence Hadley, Jr. of Marion, NC; Merianne Hadley of Antioch, TN; Karen Hadley Slocum of West Palm Beach, FL; Donald Capen of Ashland; Terry Capen of Ashland and Tracy Capen Quaglietti of Bellingham; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, (www.mataresefuneral.com), 325 Main Street in Ashland, MA 01721. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 20th from 5-8:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home.
