Lavonne Krishnan, 65, of Ashland , passed away, Thursday, Sept. 16th at her home in Ashland . Born in Evans City , PA ; she was the daughter of William and Kay (Rowe) Mehrenberg and the wife of Gopala "Kris" Krishnan. They were married 37 years. Lavonne was the director of the ESL Program at Framingham University for 13 years retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Federated Church of Ashland. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children; Kamala Krishnan of Ashland, and Raman Krishnan of Ashland; and one sister, Linda Clevelend of Tucson , AZ. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 26th at 1:00 PM in the Federated Church of Ashland, 118 Main St in Ashland .
