Laura M. Tabol, 83, passed away after a long illness. Born on June 20, 1926 in Meriden, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Stanley and Stella (Brys) Ciarcuski, and the wife of Stanley S. Tabol. After graduating from Norwich Free Academy, Norwich, Connecticut, she entered the Nurses Training Program at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1947. She worked there for several years until she married. After raising her family she worked at Sudbury Pines Nursing Home. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Stephen M. Tabol of Groton, MA; several nieces and nephews, and devoted friend and neighbor, Rose Campbell. She was predeceased by her son, Paul P. Tabol who died in 1997. Laura was a communicant of Saint Jeremiah's Parish in Framingham for many years. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Cecilia's Church, Ashland at 9 AM on Tuesday, May 25th followed by interment in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held on Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA.
