Laura Frances Nardini, 14, of Milford, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at Children's Hospital in Boston after a courageous fight with a rare cardiac illness. She was the daughter of Eugene and Carol (McDonough) Nardini. A lifelong resident of Milford, Laura was a freshman at Milford High School and a Pop Warner cheerleader. Her passion was dance - studying ballet, tap and jazz with the Georgia Deane Studio of Mendon. She had been dancing since age 3 and participated in the Annual Greater Milford Ballet Association's production of the Nutcracker for the last six years. She loved horseback riding, music, friends and her dog, Maya. Besides her parents, she leaves her sister, Christen Nardini; her grandmother, Frances Nardini of Framingham; her aunts and uncles, Terri and Kevin Donlan of Wayland, Deborah and Mark Davis of Holden, Stacy and John Kelley of Salisbury; and Philip Nardini of Stockbridge, Vt.; and her cousins, Kyle and Casey Donlan of Wayland, Sean, Austin and Caterina Davis of Holden, Kayla, Shannon and Jessica Kelley of Salisbury, and Michael and Matthew Booth of Laconia, N.H. She was the granddaughter of the late Eugene Nardini and Stella and Daniel McDonough, and was the goddaughter of the late Kathleen Booth and John McDonough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 9, at noon, at St. Mary of the Assumption, 19 Winter St., in Milford. Burial will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Hopkinton. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, from 2 to 7 p.m., at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
