Kimberley DeSiata, 48, of Ashland passed away peacefully Wednesday after a long courageous battle with cancer. Kim was born in Pineherst N.C., grew up in Framingham M.A., and lived in Ashland for the past 25 years. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife, leaving behind husband Dennis DeSiata and daughter Erica DeSiata. She also leaves behind her mother, Carol Reynolds of Framingham; father, Everett Reynolds of Rutland; sisters, Robin and Andrea, and brother, Douglas, all of Framingham.
Kim truly enjoyed her job at the Department of State Police where she worked in the Bureau of Finance. She also worked for H&R Block during the tax season.
Kim was a proud member of Eastern Star with Natick Aurora Chapter #9, serving as treasurer for many years. She also helped with the Rainbow Girls whenever she could. Kim loved to travel throughout New England with her family, Bar Harbor, Maine being her favorite destination. She loved to be with her family and friends, but her true love was watching her daughter Erica play softball, where she would keep score for the games even during her treatments. She will be truly missed by all who know her.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 5th, at 11 AM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland.
