Kenneth Paul Culverwell, 70, of Ashland passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23rd. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Merise (Orser) Culverwell and the late Paul Culverwell and husband to Lynn (Clark) Culverwell. They were married 46 years. A graduate of Northeastern University, Ken worked as a facilities engineer for Digital Equipment Co. retiring in 2002. In retirement he was employed as a bus driver for the Hopkinton School System. Mr. Culverwell served his country honorably as a Captain in the National Guard from 1966-1972. In addition to his wife; he is survived by four children; Christopher Culverwell of Framingham; Jennifer Vars and her husband Keith of Bellingham; James Culverwell and his wife Marcy of Ashland; and Justin Culverwell and his wife Melanie of Brookfield; and seven grandchildren; Samantha, Abigail, Ashleigh, Jillian, Rowan, Tyler, and Tessa. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 27th at 10am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
