Kathleen M. (Wallace) Leip 84 of Ashland passed away April 29th in Framingham after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Leip who died in 1963. Born in New York City, NY she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Skelly) Wallace and she had lived in Ashland since 1954. She worked as an accountant with the Town of Framingham for over 20 years retiring in 1988. Formerly she had been employed with the Lombard - Governor Corp. in Ashland and the Framingham Trust Co. in Framingham, MA. She was an active member and Eucharistic minister with St. Cecilia's Church in Ashland. She is survived by one daughter; Kathleen D. Ducas and her husband Roger of Swansea; three sons, Kenneth S. Leip and his wife Kathleen of Natick, Kevin A. Leip of Ashland, and Keenan D. Leip of Campton, NH; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be said on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty Street in Ashland with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening in the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main Street in Ashland from 5-8 p.m.
