Kathleen (Munger) Dakai, 57 of Millville, passed away Thursday November 16th after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Dakai had previously lived in Blackstone for 13 years and in Bellingham for 20 years. She was the wife of Charles W. Dakai to whom she was married for 39 years. She was the daughter of the late George and Rita (Blacquier) Munger. Mrs. Dakai was born in Framingham and lived in Ashland until she was 16 years old. She was a 1967 graduate of Framingham High School. Besides her husband, Mrs. Dakai is survived by three children, Amy Picard and her husband James of Balston Spa, NY, Cheryl Ann Magri and her husband Jason of Blackstone, and William Charles Dakai and his wife Tina of Millville; three brothers, George Munger of Franklin, William Munger of Bellingham, and James Munger of Holliston; two sisters, Jean Hamilton of Plano, TX and Maureen Moresi of Ashland; six grandchildren, Kristy and Vincent Picard, Molly and Madison Magri, and Megan and Charlie Dakai: and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Mary Keddy of Ashland. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 21st at 9:00 AM in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty Street in Ashland. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
