Katherine N. Sleczkowski (Kathy) of Berlin, MA passed away on December 1, 2013. Beloved wife of Alan C. Johnson. Born in Framingham, MA on November 27, 1957, daughter of Nancy (Belbusti) Hogan of Pepperell, MA and the late Alfred Sleczkowski of Framingham, MA. She attended the Framingham school system and graduated from Framingham South High School with the class of 1975. Kathy earned her Associates Degree from Massachusetts Bay Community College. She worked as a bookkeeper for Stop and Shop supermarkets for 37 years. In her free time she enjoyed skiing, running, motorcycle riding and gardening. She is survived by her brother, Joseph A. Sleczkowski and his wife Janet of Pepperell, MA; sisters, Maureen Russo of Cocoa, FL; Karin Mansfield of Titusville, FL; Donna Sleczkowski of Framingham, MA and Diane Mahar of Beaverton, OR. She was predeceased by her brother Robert J. Sleczkowski. She also leaves behind her close friend Richard McMullen of Bellingham, MA, many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Matarese Funeral home, 325 Main Street, Ashland on Saturday, December 28th at 4PM with calling hours being held from 2-4PM prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's name to the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
