Karen Marie
Hall
Dec 10, 1946 — Jan 12, 2026
Ashland
Karen M. (Zaniboni) Hall, 79, of Ashland, passed away on January 12, 2026.
Karen was a passionate, multifaceted person. She worked as a holiday gift wrapper and held licenses in hairdressing and real estate, as well as a certificate in floral design. She volunteered as a beloved "Lunch Lady" at St. Bridget's School in Framingham and as a tree decorator for the Historical Society of Falmouth. She twice crewed transatlantic ocean crossings aboard the SSV Tabor Boy. Karen loved hosting holidays and "making things pretty," and absolutely no one could put together a better Halloween costume.
Born in Wayland, Karen was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Argiro) Zaniboni and was predeceased by her sister, Linda (Zaniboni) Preston.
Karen is survived by her brother, David Zaniboni; her children, Jill Hall, her daughter Jesse and Jesse's son, Max; Vicki (Hall) Rutkowski, her husband Wayne, and their son Joey; Carrie Hall Margolis and her husband Jim; and Michael Hall. She is also survived by her niece, Chelsea Zaniboni, her partner Graham Risch, and their son Leo.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen's memory may be made to a local charity of one's choice.
Funeral services are private.
