Julie Ann Guagenty (80) passed away on the evening of Monday, October 11, 2021, surrounded by her three sons.
Julie graduated from Newton High School in 1958. Julie married Peter Guagenty on July 1st, 1961. They settled in Ashland, MA where she remained until her passing. She was a devoted and great wife, and an even better mother. She worked a full-time job -- tirelessly encouraging, educating, prodding and pushing her children to work hard at all they did. Julie, aka "Mom" and "Nana", relished time spent with her children and eight grandchildren, hearing their stories, and telling many more. She had a tight knit circle of extended family and friends, many of whom helped her later in life and for which her family is very grateful. She will be missed and fondly remembered for her gift of conversation and the love and friendship she provided.
Julie is survived by her three sons their respective families: Michael & his wife, Kelly and their children, Cheryl & Macaela; Andrew & his wife, Lauren and their children, J.T. & James; Matthew & his wife, Laurie and their children, Tyler & Gavin.
Julie was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, J. Peter "Pete" Guagenty in 2019.  She was also predeceased by her daughter, Karen O'Neil in 2018 and is survived by son-in-law, Sean O'Neil and their children, Clea & Zoe.
