Judith (Dyer) Hakansson, 88, of Clinton, formerly of Naples, ME, and Framingham, MA passed away Sat. Aug. 8th after a period of declining health. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy (Nickerson) Dyer and wife of the late Harold Hakansson who died in 2017. A graduate of Framingham High School, Judy worked as a key punch operator and later at Avery Dennison in Framingham.

Mrs. Hakansson is survived by three children; Kurt Hakansson and his husband Robert Hall of Jamaica Plain, MA; Eric Hakansson and his husband Phil Perry of Weymouth, MA; and Karen Hakansson of Clinton, MA; six grandchildren; Kevin, Andrew, and Daniel Hakansson, Melissa and Alison Carmody and Lindsay Rocheleau; and several great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Sat. Aug. 15th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 9:00-10:30am prior to the service in the funeral home.
