Joyce (Wigglesworth) Tomasz, 60, of Hopkinton, formerly of Ashland passed away Sunday Feb. 26th after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Mary Lou (Comeford) Wigglesworth and the late Richard Wigglesworth and beloved wife of James Tomasz for 34 years. Joyce was a graduate of Ashland High School Class of 1975 and went on to work as a nurse's aide at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham, before working with her husband's family for many years at T.J.'s Restaurant in Ashland. She would later worked in food service at Goldon Pond Assisted Living in Hopkinton until no longer able in 2015.

In addition to her husband and mother; she is survived by two children; Anthony Tomasz of Hoboken, NJ; and Elizabeth Tomasz of Hopkinton; three sisters; Joanie Johnson and her husband Steve of Hopkinton; Jean Reimer of Uxbridge; Judy Camille and her partner Matt Moylan of Hudson; three brothers; Michael Wigglesworth and his wife Susan of Framingham; Richard Wigglesworth and his wife Nancy of Hopkinton; and Brian Wigglesworth and his partner Krista McQueeney of Foxborough; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who loved her very much. Joyce was the mother of the late Jamie Tomasz who died in 2004.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00am in St. John the Evangelist Parish, 20 Church St. Hopkinton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Metrowest Hospice, 200 Nickerson Rd.
