Joyce A. (Stiffler) Lemieux, 71 of Ashland, passed away peacefully at home November 25th. She was the daughter of the late John and Grace (Wierman) Stiffler. She was a graduate of Ashland High in Ashland MA class of 1960. Joyce worked as a supervisor for 17 yrs. at Data General Corp. in Southborough MA. She later worked at Shawmut Bank in Framingham MA in the loan dept. until her retirement in 1999. She was a lifetime member of the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion and the VFW Posts in Ashland. She had an infectious laugh. She loved Cape Cod and spending summer vacations on Chases Ocean Grove in Dennisport, MA. Family meant the world to her and she loved spending time with those near and dear to her heart. She was an avid Patriots Fan. She enjoyed playing bingo and attending the shoots at the VFW with her friends. Joyce is survived by her daughters Paula Lemieux and her partner Carrie Petzy of Indialantic, FL. Renee (Lemieux) Balzarini and her husband Anthony of Franklin MA. Sister Joan Hebden and her partner Jack Healey of Indian Harbour Beach, FL. Nieces Coni Hebden and Lisa Hebden Caruso, great nephews Christopher Alberini and Timothy Carney Jr., great niece Hannah Caruso, great-great niece Avianna Alberini and great- great nephews Beau and Ash Hebden and Jack Alberini. She was predeceased by her nephew Michael Hebden and her dog Corky. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland on Wednesday evening December 4th at 7PM with calling hours being held from 4-7PM prior to service time.
