Josephine Frances (Kimball) Leverone, 83, of Kingston, formerly of Ashland died at Wingate at Silver Lake Nursing Facility in Kingston on Sunday, April 30, 2006. Wife of the late John D. Leverone, Sr. who died in 1998. Born in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Earl A. and Bessie F. (Linton) Kimball. Mrs. Leverone was a nurse's aid at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham. She was an avid reader of novel books. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; who will be greatly missed. Mrs. Leverone is survived by her six sons: John D. Leverone, Jr. and his fiancé Sandi Giombetti of Westboro, William F. Leverone and his wife Tracey of Kingston, Peter K. Leverone and his wife Patricia of Plymouth, Paul K. Leverone and his wife Nancy of Grafton, Allan D. Leverone of Milford, and Benjamin Leverone and his wife Jennifer of Uxbridge; one daughter, Elizabeth Wilson and her husband William of Ashland; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was sister to the late Richard and Donald Kimball and mother-in-law to the late Linda Leverone. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 3rd at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty Street Ashland. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA 01721. In lieu of floral arrangements the family has asked that donations be made in her name to St. Cecilia's Parish, 54 Esty Street, Ashland, MA 01721.
