Josephine E. Cohen, 77, of Framingham passed away Friday, Jan. 13th at her home in Framingham surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Cesidio and Margaret (Gill) Rufo and wife of the late Lawrence S. Cohen. Mrs. Cohen started her career as a secretary at the Perkins School for the Blind in Framingham, later worked for Roberta Kenney Advertising Agency in Natick, and finally worked as an office manager at Leggatt McCall Property Management in Boston. She was forever devoted to her family and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by three children: Gregg Cohen and his wife Cathy Janelle of Gray, ME; Jennifer Long and her husband Rodney of Framingham; and Melissa Cohen of Framingham; four grandchildren; Nicholas and Alison Cohen, Samuel Deacon, and Maggie Gines, one brother, Joseph Rufo and his wife Lynne of Natick, many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and special friend, Dwight Deacon of Warner, NH. Family and friends will gather Friday, Jan. 20th at 10:30am in Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery 120 Canton St. in Sharon next to the main office for a graveside service at 10:45am. A reception will follow at Joseph and Lynne Rufo's Home in Natick.
