Josephine Isabella Cialdea, 84, of Wellesley passed away Tue Dec. 10th at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Giulio and Margaret (Faticanti) Cialdea.  A longtime resident of Wellesley, Josephine grew up in Newton.  Josie had a wonderful career spanning 50 years working as a manager at the BRIGHAM and Women's Hospital Cardiac Laboratory Department. Josie loved spending summers at Martha's Vineyard and mostly at her family home on West Island in Fairhaven Massachusetts with all her family.  She loved animals, especially dogs.

Josephine is survived by one sister, Margaret Cialdea of Wellesley, fourteen nieces and nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Peter, Fred, Angelo, Julio, Connie, Louise, and Julie.

A funeral service will be held Monday Dec. 16th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Newton Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.
