Joseph A. Zonak Sr. 81, of Framingham, passed away June 27th at home following a period of declining health. He was a life long resident of Framingham. As a young man he was a member of the Polish American Society and a communicant of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church both in South Boston. He worked for the former Gentiles Bakery in Roxbury, the former Tic-Tac Donut Shop in Shoppers World and for many years for the Framingham Baking Co. in Framingham until retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Forrester's Club in Framingham, where he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was an avid Red Sox fan and on occasion attended games in Fenway Park with his son John. He is survived by his former wife: Louise (Kerrigan) Zonak of Ashland. Two sons, Joseph A. Zonak Jr. and his wife Karen of Largo, FL, John Zonak and his wife Deborah of Ashland; Two daughters, Theresa Zimmerley and her husband Dave of Holliston, and Louise Presbrey and her husband Scott of Slatterville, RI; one sister, Wanda Russo of Framingham; one brother-in-law, Harold Willard of Ft. Laurdale, FL and six grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be said on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty Street in Ashland.
