Joseph W. McKenna, 81, of Holliston passed away Wed. Sept. 28th surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Elizabeth (Ferrioli) McKenna for 46 years.  Joseph served his country honorably with US Marine Corps from 1953-1960.  A self-made man, he began his professional career as the east coast sales and marketing director for original Weed Eater lawn trimmer company.  He went on to own and operate Hazco Inc. and Forty Below Co., hazardous waste companies in the Metrowest area.

In addition to his wife; he is survived by his children; Sean McKenna of Holliston; Shannon McKenna of Framingham; and Matthew McKenna and his wife Samantha of Miami, FL; Lisa Litwiller and her husband Stephen of VA; and Michael McKenna and his partner Wayne of Palm Beach, CA; grandchildren; Eliotte and Bella McKenna; Kenny and Katie Sauer; Christian, Katherine, Zachary, and Jonathan Litwiller; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Tue. Oct. 4th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland.  Calling hours will be held Monday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation - PDF.org .
