Joseph A. DiNunzio, 88, of Ashland passed away Tuesday March 25th at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. He was the husband of Rita (Capra) DiNunzio. A resident of Ashland for 48 years, formerly of Milford, Mr. DiNunzio was a member of the Laborer's Union Local 609 and will be remembered for his love of gardening and devotion to his home and family. Joseph served his country honorably with the Navy during WWII. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Michael DiNunzio of Charlotte, NC, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 29th at 10:00am in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. in Framingham. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
