Joseph Victor Anghinetti, 102, of Framingham, passed away Thursday, Jan. 15th, at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham. Born in Roxbury, MA; he was the husband of the late Mary (Nigro) Anghinetti who died in 2003. A resident of Framingham until 1975, he retired to Centerville, MA where he lived until 2000. He has been a resident of Carmel Terrace in Framingham for the last 9 years. Mr. Anghinetti owned and operated Texaco Gas on the corner of Winthrop and Waverly St. until creating Joseph's Restaurant at the same location. After closing the restaurant in 1954, he spent many years working as a salesman. He was a member of the Christopher Columbus Society and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was an original member of the Framingham Heart Study. Mr. Anghinetti is survived by two sons: David Anghinetti of Southborough, and Joseph Anghinetti and his wife Susan of Kennebunkport, ME; four grandchildren; Jane Lovering, Thomas Anghinetti, and Joseph and James Matarese; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30am in St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St. in Framingham followed by cremation. There are no calling hours.
