John "Jack" Lovezzola, 87, longtime resident of Ashland, MA passed away Tues. Aug. 11. Born in Natick, he was son of the late Rene and Grace (Brown) Lovezzola and husband to the late Mary "Nan" (Gallant) Lovezzola. Jack worked as director of manufacturing at Prime Computer and later as a project manager for EMC/Data General.

He served his country honorably with the US Air Force from 1958-62. Jack also served as a volunteer at the Ashland Senior Center for many years

Jack is survived by two children, John Lovezzola of Pawcatuck, CT, and Jean Wozniak and her husband Michael, Auburn, NH, four grandchildren, Anthony and Isabelle Lovezzola, and Tuckerman and Jackson Wozniak, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday Aug. 21st, 11:00am, St. Cecilia's Parish, 54 Esty St. Ashland, MA followed by burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Natick. Calling hours Thursday Aug. 20, 4:00-7:00 PM , Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
