John E. Kaelin, 83, of Framingham, passed away, Tuesday, May 15th at the Wingate of Sudbury Nursing Home. He was the husband of 57 years to the late Catherine M. Nix. John served his country honorably with the Army during WWII, receiving two bronze stars for his service. He is survived by three sons, John Kaelin and his wife Nancy of Chelmsford, Timothy Kaelin of Hudson, and James Kaelin and his wife Gail of Framingham, MA. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 18th at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, (www.mataresefuneral.com) 325 Main St. Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
