John Hugh Connolly, 88 of Ashland passed away Wednesday March 27th after a period of declining health.  Born in Newton, he was the son of the late George and Margaret (MacNeil) Connolly.  John was the husband of Alice (White) Connolly for 65 years.  He worked as a line manager for Snap On Tools for many years.  Mr. Connolly served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp from 1956-58.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, David Connolly of Ashland, and John E. Connolly of Ashland, five grandchildren, Matthew, Cameron, John, Brianna, and Christopher, and three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Kyson, and Bane.  In addition, John is survived by one brother, Bernie Connolly of Western, MA.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Tue. April 2nd at 12:30 PM at the Mass. National Cemetery, Connery Ave. Bourne, MA.  There are no visiting hours.
