John F. Capstick, 72, lifelong resident of Framingham passed away Tue. April 5th after a period of declining health.  He was the son of the late John and Claire (Savino) Capstick and the husband of the late Elizabeth (Murphy) Capstick who died in 2020.

He leaves behind a brother, Patrick Capstick of Milford, and four sisters, Catherine Barbieri of Oklahoma, Mary Jane Mathieu of Ashland, MA, Veronica Dalton of Norwood, MA, and Sue Ellen Capstick of Florida, as well as many In-Laws from the Murphy family.

Big John worked as a union laborer for many years with the Local 609 and enjoyed spending time in Cape Cod and in the company of family and friends.  He will be missed by all who knew him but will be happy to be reunited with his wife whom he had missed dearly these last couple years.
