John Eugenio Antobenedetto, 83, of Ashland, passed away, Aug. 27th at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Sylvia (Moretti) Antobenedetto and husband to the late Evelyn (Santimore) Antobenedetto who died in 1991. A resident of Ashland for over 30 years, John worked as a carpenter for Howard Apartments in Framingham and was the owner and operator of E&A Roofing. He was a long time member of the Christopher Columbus Club in Framingham. He is survived by four children: Ronald Antobenedetto, Vicki Ahearn, and Paul Antobenedetto, all of Ashland; and David Antobenedetto of Bellingham; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters; Nora Ridenour and Gloria Barrett; and one brother Aldo Antobenedetto of Natick. He was the step-father of the late Jacky Brooks. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
