Joanne G. Bogan, 92, of Natick, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12th. Born in Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Murphy) Bogan.

Joanne dedicated her career to serving others as a Social Worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, specializing in adoption. Her compassion and commitment touched the lives of many children and families over the years.

A woman of deep faith and intellectual curiosity, Joanne enjoyed attending Bible study, sharing stories with friends, and participating in her weekly book club at Barnes & Noble.

She is survived by her sister, Claire Lombardi, and her brother, Francis Bogan, and his wife, Florence. Known fondly as "Auntie Joanne," she cherished a close and loving bond with her 17 nieces and nephews and their children. She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline Reister, and brother, Joseph Bogan.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the Celebration of Life service.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 17th at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA.
