Jeannine Powers of Holliston passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026.  Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Cecile (Duquette) Anctil.

A graduate of Salve Regina University, Jeannine began her career as an elementary school teacher, before dedicating herself to raising her children. She later was a purchasing manager for TJX Companies Inc.

Jeannine loved to travel, try new bakeries, dance, and read, but nothing brought her greater happiness than time spent with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from supporting, encouraging, and celebrating the people she loved. They adored her deeply.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Holmlund of Holliston and Karen Gregor and her husband Brian of Sudbury, and four grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Rylie, and Josie. Jeannine was the sister of the late Pierre Anctil.

A funeral service will be held May 30th at 10:30 am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with urn burial to follow in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston.  Visiting hours will held May 30th in the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service.

Donations in Jeannine's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
