Jay Martin Essigmann, 54, of Framingham passed away Mon Dec. 2 ^nd after a brief illness.  He was the husband of Kimberly (Dyan) Essigmann.  A lifelong resident of Framingham, he was the son of the late Karl and Joan (Jacobs) Essigmann and beloved husband of Kimberly (Dyan) Essigmann.  Jay worked for the Town of Framingham from the age of 16 in the Parks and Rec. Dept. and later in the Water Dept.  Most recently he worked as a truck driver for Middlesex Petroleum Co. of Framingham.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Alec Essigmann and his wife Thatilla of Framingham, and Ryan Essigmann of Framingham, one grandson, Eddie, two brothers, Eric Essigmann and his wife Ednia of Newton, and Dana Essigmann and his wife Marilia of Framingham, and his mother in law, Suzanne Valliere of Florida.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday Dec. 9 ^th at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with urn burial to follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VFW Post 929, 450 Union Ave. Framingham, MA  01702
