Janice Ruth Enman, 93, former longtime resident of Ashland passed away Thursday Oct. 30th after a period of declining health.  Born in Winchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Williamson) Greenleaf.  She was a graduate of Natick High Class of 1950. In November of that year she married the love of her life Robert Enman. They were married for 59 years until his death in 2009.  Jancie and Bob enjoyed camping and traveling around the US, finally getting on an airplane at the age of 80.   Janice was a former longtime member of the Framingham Elks Emblem Club.

She is survived by one daughter Darlene Herweck and her husband Mark of Falmouth, MA, and two cherished grandchildren, Joshua and Daniel Herweck, both of Ashland, MA, and she loved her grandcats – especially Harley.  Janice was pre-deceased by her three siblings, Barbara Grandoni of Framingham, Shirley Hunley-Marusa of Laconia, NH, and Charles Greenleaf Jr of Whittier, CA.  She was first and foremost a wonderful mother and grandmother.

A funeral service will be celebrated Friday Nov. 7th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA  with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday Nov. 6th from 4:00-6:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home.
