Janet (Richards) Picconi, 99, lifelong resident of Ashland passed away Sunday, September 17th after a brief illness.  She was the beloved wife of Harvey Picconi who died in 1993.  Janet was a 1942 graduate of Ashland High School and attended Pierce Secretarial School in Boston. She was a longtime employee of Dow Chemical in Boston.

She is survived by her son, John Picconi and his wife Robin of Ashland, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Marianne Picconi.
