Jan V. Robertson Roberts, 77, of Framingham, MA passed away on February 8, 2014. She was the daughter Veronica Tarasavich Robertson and Frederick Cummings Robertson Sr. and wife of the late Arthur Charles Roberts Sr . She was the Patriarch of the family. Lover of animals, active volunteer of Relay for life, a loyal member of Alanon and loved hanging out with her pals at Dunkin Donuts. Jan was a beautiful soul who would give anyone the shirt off her back and would always listen with an open mind and open heart. Feisty and a little rough around the edges, she stood her ground and fought for what she believed in her heart was right. She loved hard. She endured a lot of pain throughout her life and was the definition of the word Survivor. She was a lover of gardening; Hampton Beach, mall walking and she spent her career with Stovers Hotels in food service and in her latter years served as a caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care. Jan leaves behind two surviving sisters; Christine Robertson Lashus of Framingham and Mary Robertson Campo of Framingham as well as 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her pride and joy Pekinese pup of 5 years Precious as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her three children; Arthur Charles Jr., Deborah Duggan and Charlene McCarthy. She is also predeceased by brothers; Willard Robertson, Leonard Robertson and Frederick E. Robertson. A memorial mass will be said for Jan Roberts at St Linus Church, 119 Hartford St. Natick, Ma on Sunday February 16th at 11am.
