James "Sharky" Tomasz, 65, lifelong resident of Ashland passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 26th.  Son of the late Joseph and Olga (Pezza) Tomasz, he was the husband of the late Joyce (Wigglesworth) Tomasz and father to the late Jamie Tomasz.

A graduate of Keefe Tech High School in 1976, James began work as a customer service technician for GBC Printing and Binding Co. of Waltham, MA and moved on to become an inside sales representative for Quality Components of Holliston, MA.  He later spent several years as a laborer in the construction industry and most notably worked with his family at TJ's Spirits Restaurant in Ashland, MA.

Family was most important to "Sharky" and he enjoyed gathering with family at the beaches in Maine, and especially fishing.

James is survived by his children, Anthony Tomasz and his wife Gabrielle of Long Valley, NJ, and Elizabeth Tomasz and her partner Daniel Lewis of Hopkinton, his brothers, Matthew Tomasz and his partner Roseann Rinaldo of Ashland, Joseph Tomasz and his partner Kathy Kerrigan of Hopkinton, John Tomasz and his wife Gail of Hopkinton, and his sister, Nancy Wigglesworth and her husband Richard of Hopkinton, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Mon. Aug. 21st at 11:00am in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland, MA. There are no calling hours. Please consider a donation in James's name to St. Jude's Charity at
