James F. Hagerty 62 of Framingham, formerly of Holliston and Ashland passed away June 19th in Boston after a period of declining health. He was the loving son of the late William and Nora Hagerty; brother of the late John, and the late Daniel Hagerty. Survived by his sister, Claire Brady and her husband Thomas of Holliston, MA and their children, Daniel and Shana: his niece, Lorette and her husband Stephen Fitzgerald of Randolph, MA and their children, Lacey and Kevin; his nephew, Robert of Carver, MA; and grandniece, Christina. Jim was a graduate from Charlestown High School and the Franklin Institute. He was a Master Electrician. He had worked for Liberty Mutual, GTE-Sylvania and several contractors during his career. He also worked as a private electrical contractor. Jim always loved gardening and dogs, and an occasional trip to a casino. He especially enjoyed many vacation tours and cruises with his brother Dan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a gathering at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St., Ashland, MA on Friday June 22nd from 8:00am to 8:45am with Mass in St. Cecilia's Church, Esty St., Ashland, MA at 9:00am.
