James P. Fitzsimmons, 93, of Framingham passed away Friday Oct. 13th after a period of declining health. Born and raised in Waltham, he was the husband of the late Doris (Melanson) Fitzsimmons who died in 2007.  James worked as a general manager for many years with Chandler and Farquhar Industrial

Supply Company in Boston. He served his country honorably with the Army Air Corps during WWII and later with the Air Force during the Korean War.

Mr. Fitzsimmons is survived by three children; Barbara Kaufman and her husband Michael of Ashland; Jo Ann Eden and her husband Michael of Framingham; and James Fitzsimmons and his wife Angela of Auburn; six grandchildren; Joe, Andy, Brian, Traci, Emily, and Nicholas; nine great-grandchildren; Haley, Brandon, Grady, Anna, Brooke, Jaden, Maci, Eden, and Seamus; many nieces and nephews; and close friend, Robbie.  He was the brother of the late John, Joe, Millie, Bill, Bob, Rusty, Rich, Don, and Butch.

An interment service will be held Tue. Nov. 14th at 11:15am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave. Bourne, MA.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Baypath Humane Society, 500 Legacy Farms North, Hopkinton, MA  01748.
