James Charles
Farley
Aug 13, 1954 — Nov 4, 2023
Framingham
James Charles Farley, 69, of Framingham passed away Sat. Nov. 4th after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Besse (Ashman) Barrows. A graduate of Ashland High School, he worked for Raytheon Co. and most recently Adessa in Framingham.
James had a love for many things in life. In his younger years he liked to go line dancing. He would don his cowboy boots and his Stetson hat that he never missed an opportunity to wear. He had a passion for Elvis and Marilyn Monroe.
In his most recent years, he frequented yard sales looking to find video games, consoles, and gaming accessories in good condition. He would sell those treasures at the Grafton Flea Market every Sunday. He really enjoyed his time there and spoke fondly of the friends he had made throughout his years.
He loved to collect things. He took pride in the movie collection he had built over the years, especially the Disney movies. He was always watching the Disney Channel. He collected coins and foreign currency. Anyone that knew him also knew that he could always be found with a can of Coca Cola in his hand.
He was predeceased by his brothers Frank, Harry, and Stan. Last year his sister Sharon Denault passed away. He had been quite lost without her as they shared a close bond with each other, especially since they were the only two remaining immediate family members.
James leaves his niece Jennifer Brown and her partner Melinda Emin of Framingham, his nephew Tim Denault of Ashland, his great nieces Carrie and Haleigh Brown, Allyx and Max Emin, all of Framingham. He also leaves his great great niece Marabella Brower of Framingham.
