James J. (Sam) Antonioli, 93, of Intervale, NH, formerly of Framingham, passed away on Friday March 10th. He was the husband of the late Vera S. Antonioli. They were married for 60 years. Mr. Antonioli was born in Framingham, son of the late James and Aldina (Pesci) Antonioli. He was a graduate of Framingham High School, class of 1931. Mr. Antonioli was a Framingham Firefighter for 29 years. He was the oldest living retired Framingham firefighter. He had been a member of Christopher Columbus Society since 1930. Jim was an avid sport enthusiast who loved to watch Notre Dame football. He loved being outdoors and working with his hands. His grandchildren and great grandchildren gave him great joy in his later years of life. He is survived by his son, Charles and his wife Diane Antonioli of Framingham. His daughter Marie Early and her husband Tom of Virginia Beach, VA, and his daughter Mary Ellen Antonioli of Intervale, NH, with whom he had resided for the last 4 years. He also leaves a grandson, Patrick Early and his wife Karina, two granddaughters, Kathleen Early and Lori Antonioli, and 3 great grandchildren, Liam, Meghan and Mikayla Early. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Frank Antonioli and sisters Mary Depietri and Angie Brovelli. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Tarcisius Church on Waverly St (Rt. 135) in Framingham on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the family lot in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.
