Jacques "Jack" Walker DeCoff, 76, of Blackstone, formerly of Sherborn, passed away, Sat. Feb. 9th, at UMass Medical Center in Worcester. Born in Newton, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Horne) DeCoff and husband to the late Caroline (Barilone) DeCoff, who died in 2006. A resident of Blackstone since 1999, he was formerly a real estate broker with Horne Realty and later worked as a bus driver for the American Reparatory Theatre. Mr. DeCoff is survived by two children: Deirdre Aronson and her husband Eric of Rangely, ME; and Alan DeCoff of Westboro, MA; six grandchildren: Daniel DeCoff, Carolynne and Amy Aronson; Brianna, Brittney, and Bridget DeCoff; and one great-grandchild, Caroline DeCoff; and three brothers: Joe of Spencer, MA; Donald of Georgia; John of Manchester, NH; and one sister, Margery Curran of Linwood, MA. He was the brother of the late Hank DeCoff. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13th at 6:00PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home (www.mataresefuneral.com) 325 Main St. in Ashland. Calling hours will be held from 4:00-6:00PM prior to the service. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
