Jace David Klay, 13, of Ashland, passed away, Saturday, April 18th, in Jupiter, Fl. Born in Newton, he was the son of David and Gina (Duca) Klay. Jace was an 8th grade student at the Ashland Middle School. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister; Makenna Klay of Ashland; paternal grandfather; Richard Klay and his wife Christine Klay of Ogunquit, ME; paternal grandmother; Nancy Oswald of Sand Springs, OK; maternal grandparents; Jim and Mary Duca of Dennisport, MA; one uncle, Peter Klay of Ashland, three aunts; Laura Terlizzi of Newton, NH; Sharon Yadon of Sand Springs, OK; and Heather Duca of Marlborough, MA; and seven cousins who were such a big part of his life; Jacob, Andrew, Eve, Natalie, Hannah, Josiah, and Sarah. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 25th at 11:00am at the Metrowest Worship Center, 280 Pleasant St. in Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Friday from 3:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home,325 Main St. in Ashland.
