Irving E. Larkin, 81, of Natick passed away Wed. Dec. 13th after a period of declining health.  Irving was an enthusiastic golfer starting his career as a caddy at Torrington CC in CT in the 1950's and eventually becoming pro shop manager until 1975.  He later worked as a custodian at Cushing Hospital retiring in 1991.  He was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

Mr. Larkin is survived by his devoted brother, Robert MacDonald and his wife Mary of Upton, loving cousin, Diane Travis of Holliston, several additional cousins, and his friends at Bay Path Elder Services.

A funeral service will be held Wed. Dec. 20th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland with urn burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Hopkinton.  Calling hours will be held Wed. from 9:00-11:00am prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
